5 Singing Stars that will Make Noise in 2012

There’s no denying that 2011 was a great year for music is a lot of exciting developments. We saw some newer singers solidify into popular stars, while others came out of the woodwork to entertain fans across the world. Some older acts also came back into fashion while still proving they had what it took to hang with the youngsters. The same types of things will be seen in 2012 with a great mix of old and new singers coming out with albums. It’s sure to be an exciting year filled with hot gossip and frantic energy that only the music industry produces. Let’s take a look at five stars that are really going to make a lot of noise in the upcoming year.

bruno mars

Bruno Mars – 2011 was really a breakout year for Mars, and he had a load of hits to build up his fan base. It also came to light that he was responsible for co-writing many of the most popular songs all of this year as well. But he’s made enough of a name for himself that he doesn’t have to stand behind anyone else anymore. 2012 is going to be his year for establishing his voice and really breaking out as a solo star that has no other competition is category right now.

Madonna – the original material girl is going to come back big in 2012. She is set to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show, and the world is already buzzing about what she might do. Although she might not seem like a great choice for football fans, there is no doubt she’s going to get people talking. She’s also going to release her first new studio album in quite some time, and we’re certain it will have at least a few number one hits.

The Killers – this is a band that epitomizes hot and cold, but they’ve been around enough that people still give them the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes they disappear too long for their own good, so it’s always nice to see them come back with a new album. Some people consider them pioneers but their special brand of music might not hold up as well. Having said that, we have perfect faith that the Killers are going to put an interesting twist on what they do best.

Lana Del Rey – she is one of the few acts to ever debut on Saturday Night Live without even releasing her album first. Her performance honored a lot of criticism while people said that she looks extremely nervous. But there’s no doubt she’s gorgeous and there’s a reason why she was chosen for this coveted spot. Hopefully this initial backlash will turn around and people will root for her as an underdog. We have no doubt that her mix of beauty and talent is going to win out in 2012.

Adam Lambert – hope is beginning to run out for some who claim American Idol is still a star-making machine. It’s pretty much a hit or miss proposition with whoever comes out of the show these days. So when there’s someone who stands out from the rest and has a chance at having a full music career, we stand behind them completely. Lambert might not appeal to everyone, but there’s no denying he is definitely different from everyone else. With a new studio album release in 2012, we think he’s going to hit his stride and become a real mainstream success.

You can expect all of these artists to create some noise and make a splash on all forms of media ranging from radio to television to your home karaoke machine. It won’t be long before you can pop yourself down on your couch, plug-in your favorite headset and remind yourself why these are some of the most talented people in the industry. Hang on to your seatbelt because 2012 is going to be a wild ride.
